It’s Day 5 of Freedom to Read Week. At North, we are free to read Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson. This mystery explores issues of race, mental illness, and media bias through the story of Monday, a girl who goes missing for a year, but no one notices except her best friend. In some schools and libraries, access to Monday’s Not Coming is restricted. To learn why, stop by the Media Center to view our Freedom to Read display, and enter our contest for a chance to win a Dunkin gift card.
