Emmy Wrba led the way for North Hunterdon, No. 9 in the NJ.com Top 20, in its 3-2 win over No. 5 Phillipsburg in Phillipsburg.
Annika Hoyer added one goal for North Hunterdon, which scored two goals in the second quarter to take a 2-0 lead.
North Hunterdon clinched the Delaware Division of the Skyland Conference.
Zoey Zahorchak had (4) key saves to preserve the win for the Lions.

Attention juniors and seniors – In SCOIR, RVCC is scheduled for 2 separate visits tomorrow. Just to clarify, the one at 8:44 AM is specifically for the Honors College/NJ Stars programs. On Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 there will be a field trip offered to any sophomore or junior wanting to visit the Hunterdon County Polytech Programs. There is limited space. Space on the bus may not be available for students who hand in their permission form after Monday, October 23rd. An email was sent with the form or stop by the Counseling Office and see Ms. Fisher or Ms. Kellum with any questions.
The Girls Fencing Team will hold a pre-season informational meeting, tomorrow, Thursday, October 19th. The meeting will be held immediately after school in Cafeteria B. Anyone who is interested in participating in fencing is encouraged to attend. We welcome anyone who is interested in trying a new sport to come and meet the team and the coaches. No previous fencing experience is required, beginners are welcome!
Any students interested in boys fencing, the team meeting will be October 26th in room 125. New members welcome.
