Congratulations to Brody Sible on his 3rd place finish in both the high jump and the long jump last night at the Metro Invitational in NYC.
Congratulations the the unified lions for putting up a great fight against Central last night, losing 44-42 in a superb inclusive community event at North Hunterdon High School.
The game was a barn-burner from start to finish with the halftime score being Red Devils 18 and Lions 14. At the end of the 3rd Quarter, the Lions caught up making the score 30-30. The last (2) minutes mark the score was tied 42-42 with #31 Andy (Shake n Bake) Santander scoring the winning basket for the Red Devils.
The Lions were led by #42 Sean (AirCraft Carrier) Pettegrove with 18 points and 4 rebounds. Other scorers were #54 Keith (Freight Train) Pannicke with 8 points; #12 Danny (Stealth Bomber) Navarro and #43 Andrew (Superman) Heaney with 6 points apiece; #41 Carly (Traffic Cone) Moore and #6 Clare (Wonder Women) Sturges finishing up with 2 points apiece.

If you want to be a Unified Leader next school year, the Unified Leadership Applications are due this Friday, the 26th to Mrs. Byron in room 121, or directly email the application to her. Applications are outside of room 121 and were emailed by Mr. Pellechio.

The class of 2024’s Valentine’s Day Goodie Bag sale is back! Orders open on January 29th, bags cost $5, and officers will have a table in the mall during L1 and L2 for you to pay. The sale ends on February 9th, and bags will be delivered on Valentine’s Day.
The boy’s tennis pre-season meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at 2:30 in room 217. Anyone interested in trying out must attend the meeting. If you cannot make it please contact coach Niznik or coach Schuetz.

Cathy Bielat, the Enrollment Coach from RVCC will be here at North on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, for an Info Session. This session is open to both juniors and seniors. On Thursday, February 8, 2024, she will be here for the Application Session. The application session is open to seniors ONLY. The meetings will be in the Media Center from 9:43-10:38 on both days. If you are interested in either meeting, sign up with Ms. Fisher. For the application session you will need to submit a transcript release form before February 7. You must also bring your Chromebooks to both sessions.
