The Unified Lions basketball team won yesterday over the Del Val terriers. The Lions were lead by Danny Navarro and Sean Pettegrove on offense. The Lions had great defense overall and rebounded well. Congrats to the Unified Lions, Coach Lelko, and Coach Lindaberry on the win!

Congratulations to Max Sklar and Prabhav Kanneganti, winners in the library’s Winter Reading Challenge. And thanks to all 229 readers who participated. As a school community, we crushed our goal and read a total of 371 books from Dec. 22nd to January 31st … 24% above our goal.

There will be a brief meeting today for anyone interested in joining Boys Spring Track in Room 014 at 2:30.

Come out and support the Girl’s Basketball Team as we celebrate our senior night against Montgomery High School on Tuesday, February 6th. Join us as we honor and celebrate our incredible senior athletes. These exceptional young women have poured their hearts into the game, and now it’s time to show our appreciation. The game will tip off at 5:30, don’t miss it!

The class of 2024’s Valentine’s Day Goodie Bag sale is back! Check your email or flyers for a link to the order form. Bags cost $5 and you can pay at the table set up in the mall during L1 and L2. The sale ends on February 9th, and bags will be delivered on Valentine’s Day.


There will be a meeting for all girls planning to compete on the Spring Track & Field team on today at 2:30 in Room 135A.

Cathy Bielat, the Enrollment Coach from RVCC will be here at North this Thursday, February 8, 2024, for an Application Session. The application session is open to seniors ONLY. The meeting will be in the Media Center from 9:43-10:38. If you are interested, sign up with Ms. Fisher in Guidance. You will need to submit a transcript release form by tomorrow. You must also bring your Chromebook.

Boys Volleyball will have an interest meeting on February 21st from 2:30-3:10 in room 121. Registration opens on February 7th. Please reach out to coach Prado or coach Matisak with any questions.
