Last night, the girls fencing team took on Ramapo High School in the preliminary round of the State Sweet-16 tournament. It was a close match that was tied 11 all. At that point, North went on a run and won the final 5 bouts for a 16-11 win.
Freshman Claire Rozpedowski and Sophomore Malorie Brown both had perfect 3-0 records, delivering key wins when the team needed them.
Congratulations to the North Cheer team, who made it through multiple qualifying rounds at the 2024 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida this past weekend. North Cheer advanced to Semi Finals in Traditional, and Finals in Game Day. The team put forth nearly flawless performances every day for all three days, and ultimately placed 13th in the Nation in the Large Game day division! Congratulations North Cheer!
