Hey Everyone! This is Amnesty International with a very important message. Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This day originated in 1992 and it promotes the protection of the rights and well-being of all people with disabilities. A few organizations that bring awareness to this day are the United Nations, The World Health Organization, and The American Association of People With Disabilities. A few organizations in our community that bring awareness to this day include the Arc of Hunterdon County, the Hunterdon County Interfaith Outreach Council, and the Hunterdon County Office on Disability Services. We hope that everyone learned something new and will do their part to further educate others and bring awareness to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Attention seniors! The College Application Stress and Processing Group will meet today during L1 and L2 in the conference room in the media center. All seniors are welcome to come and speak about their current experience applying to college.
