North Hunterdon Girls Wrestling had two great wins last night beating p-burg 51-12, and Mount Olive 54-18. Go Lady Lions!
Congratulations to the Unified Lions (1-0) for winning the Unified Sports Basketball game last night against the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (0-1) 54-34.
The Unified Lions started off like a ball of fire leading after the first quarter 16-12. The Halftime score the Lions led 26-14. The Unified Lions started pulling away after the third Quarter with the score being 40-26. The Unified Lions worked their magic to pull away from the Minutemen with the Final score being 54-34. As far as wonderful sportsmanship, the Lions had some players play on both teams to try to balance out the game.
The Unified Lions were led by #24 Sean (Shaq Diesel) Pettegrove who had 20 points; #31 (Iron) Malachi Tyson had 18 points and 3 rebounds and 6 steals; #9 Bettina (Bat Girl) Manasseri-Castro had 4 points (plus 8 points for the Minutemen); #8 Keith (Freight Train) Pannicke had 4 points and 2 rebounds; #42 Andrew (Superman) Heaney had 2 points (plus 2 points for the Minutemen); #6 Jamie (Luck of the Irish) Sullivan had 2 points (plus 4 points for the Minutemen); #30 Collin (Rewind the Tape) Tran had 4 points; #54 Will (The Big Deal) Acosta had 2 points to finish up the scoring for the Lions.

There will be a mandatory Tech Crew Interest Meeting today at 2:30 in Room 129. If you are interested in running lights and sound for the winter musical, come to the meeting to find out more! If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Orr.

There will be a brief meeting for anyone interested in trying out for boys or girls golf today after school in room 135B. If you can’t make the meeting let Coach Ruscher know.
There will be a Unified Social Club meeting today from 2:30-3:10 in Room 121.
North Hunterdon will be offering math SAT review classes beginning January 16th, running every Thursday from 2:30 until around 4:00 in room 207 for six weeks. Make sure to have your parents sign you up in Aspen before attending. Bring a fully charged Chromebook. This will be offered again in the spring.
Cathy Bielat, the Enrollment Coach from RVCC, will be here at North on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, for an Information Session. This session is open to both Juniors and Seniors. On Thursday, February 20, 2025, she will be here for the Application Session. This session is open to seniors ONLY. The meetings will be in the Media Center from 9:43-10:39 on both days. SENIORS, if you are interested, please bring a transcript release form to Ms. Fisher BEFORE the dates and also to sign up. She has the list and will send you a pass to the sessions.
